What it is
In person and competitive
A circuit of functional stations linked by shuttle-run segments, which each participant performs at their own centre. It differs from the other modules in three ways: it is in person and competitive rather than evaluative, it measures itself and the whole course takes place inside the gym, with no outdoor sections.
- The 1 km run is replaced by a shuttle run, back and forth over a 7-metre course, with the laps calibrated so accumulated fatigue is equivalent.
- Tests are individual: each participant competes with their own result and their own category.
- There is no mass start: the centre runs starts in turns, depending on availability, and a participant can compete alone, unsupervised.
The formats
For time, AMRAP and reps max
FOR TIME: whoever finishes first having completed all valid reps wins. It is the format of every official competition.
- AMRAP: Maximum reps within a set time per exercise. REPS MAX: Maximum reps with no time limit, until the system stops detecting them.
- The centre can also design its own tests, scored by the maximum number of reps achieved.
What you need
The centre's equipment
- Two machines: a rower and a ski erg, both ergometers. They are the only two you need and it is worth checking them before the first competition, because not every gym has them.
- Functional equipment: stations adapt to the centre's equipment, with loads and measurements adjusted by category and sex.
- Space: a 7-metre stretch for the shuttle run, stations cleared with their equipment at hand and room for the expected simultaneous participants.
How it is ranked
Overall, age and sex
You compete in three classifications: overall, by age and by sex. There are no doubles, relay or para categories.
- The ranking is global and built from each participant's public profile: world, country, region and gym. The same result appears in several rankings.
- The client's real name never appears in the ranking: their nickname, country, chain and gym are shown.
- Validity comes from the sensors: there are no judges and no manual recording.
What you get
Challenges, ranking and the road to the official event
Every session leaves a result and counts towards the rankings: the client trains, competes and improves without leaving the centre.
- MyGym: competitions the centre itself creates, in minutes, with sensor and exercise circuits. It is the most affordable route and helps lose the fear of competing.
- WODs: compete against yourself, against friends or against the world any day.
- The official Hyatlón competition: a monthly event with a global ranking by category, age group, club and sex.
- A client is ready for an official event when they complete the whole test at their centre, not because of their ranking position.
Technology partner
Hyatlón
NooFit is the technology partner of the Hyatlón hybrid competitions, organised by the Spanish Triathlon Federation: official exercises are sensored with the PODs to measure every rep. The module prepares the client with the same measurement used in official events.
The three modules
The centre does not buy a closed package: it can start with one and add the others whenever it wants
